A címlap szövege díszes, körzetekből kirakott keretbe nyomtatva. A XVIII. század végén a magyar nyelv felsőoktatásba való bevitele, szaktudományi előadások és tankönyvek formájában való használata sürgős feladattá tette a nem elemi szintű grammatika megalkotását, a nyelv rendszerének, szabályainak, történetének, eredetének tudományos leírását. A feltámadt igény kielégítésére számos munka látott napvilágot, melyek közül az egyik legkorábbi az aukciónkon szereplő mű.

Korabeli, aranyozott, bordázott gerincű, enyhén kopott, kissé sérült félbőr kötésben, gerincén aranyozott címvignettával, piros festésű lapszélekkel. Jó példány.
