With an inscription on the half title: „A mon amié et comme parisien et comme hongrois a Elek Gozsdu Bpest 1889 márczius Justh” (To my friend, both as Parisian and as Hungarian, to Elek Gozsdu. Budapest, March 1889. Justh). The dedicatee was a lawyer and, though now nearly forgotten, also a writer (he was the nephew of Manó Gozsdu).
Contemporary half leather. Spine gilt. Upper edges gilt.
