Since the work is in publisher’s binding, the above – issued independently a year earlier – forms part of this edition.
The author was one of the earliest advocates of women’s equality, wife of the noted engraver and cartographer Ferenc Karacs. Their home in Ősz (today Szentkirályi) Street was a vibrant literary salon, frequented by Kazinczy, Kisfaludy, Vörösmarty, Déryné, and Róza Laborfalvi. József Katona also lived with them for some years.
Publisher’s block-printed hardpaper.
Provenance: With collection stamp of sculptor András Tóth (father of the poet Árpád Tóth) on the title page.
