Ganz Beschreibung

The association welcomes István Nádosy, major of the Pest National Guard, as a member. The sheet was produced in Ágost Walzel's workshop in Pest. At the top centre, beneath the gilt inscription, is a crowned coat of arms, richly decorated with military insignia on both sides and at the bottom. On the left center is the county coat of arms, and on the right is the city coat of arms. With paper protected wax seal, signed by Captain József Caneider.
István Nádosy was a merchant and commander of the Pest civil guard. In July 1848, the unit was incorporated into the national guard.
Dated: Győr, 3 December, 1846.
