A flamand kódexművészet kiemelkedő darabja a Grimani-breviárium, amely 65 gyönyörű, egész oldalas miniatúrát tartalmaz a középkori világi és vallási életről. A kódexet 1520 körül a velencei Domenico Grimani bíboros vásárolta meg, azóta is Velencében őrzik. Kötetünk hosszabb német nyelvű tanulmánnyal kezdődik, majd a kódex lapjait 115 táblán mutatja be. Összesen 400 példányban készült bibliofil kiadás. (Auflage in 400 Exemplaren mit deutschem Text.) Példányunkban néhány tábla felcserélt sorrendben kötve.
Az eredeti breviárium kötése alapján készült, kiadói, bordó bársonykötésben, az első kötéstáblán Antonio Grimani velencei dózse aranyozott, díszes keretű, dombornyomásos medalion-portréjával, felül poncolt aranyozású lapszélekkel. Fűzése enyhén meglazult, de összességében nagyon szép példány.
