Szegedi János (1699–1760) jezsuita szerzetes, nagyszombati tanár, egyházjogász, vándormisszionárius, később rektor, Bécsben a Pázmáneum vezetője. Korának egyik legismertebb jogásza volt. Gazdag irodalmi működése felölelte nemcsak az egyházjogot, hanem a magyarországi jogrendszert is. Tankönyvei, gyakorlati irányú kézikönyvei és törvénygyűjteményei hosszú ideig közhasználatban voltak. Jelen műve jogászati értekezés. A kiadvány végén ornamentikus keretben a jezsuita rend fametszetű címere.
Fűzve, borító nélkül, gerincén papírcsíkkal. Jó példány.
