A francia könyvművészet történetének képes összefoglalója, oldalszámozáson belül 16 egész oldalas és 261 szövegközti illusztrációval. Példányunk utolsó két levelén régi, kézzel írt, francia nyelvű, ceruzás összefoglaló.
Korabeli, aranyozott gerincű, fekete félvászon kötésben (Varjas Pál könyvkötő, Debreczen), márványmintás festésű lapszélekkel, az eredeti első borítófedél bekötve. Szép példány.
