[Temesvári Pelbárt; Pelbartus de Temeswar] - Stellarium Corone benedicte Virginis Marie in laudem eius pro singulis predicationibus elega(n)tissime coaptatum.
(Lyon, 1514. Bernard Lescuyer - Johann Koberger [Nürnberg]). [252] p. Folio. A collection of sermons written for the respect of the Virgin Mary. This was the first work of Pelbartus de Themeswar, this one is its 15th edition. Old repairs on the title page and the second leaf, the rest of the text pages are nice and clean. On the verso of pp9 there is a decorative, woodcut printer s emblem next to the colophon. The title of the second one, the sermon volume of Haimo von Halberstadt, is missing. Contemporary brown leather wooden-plate binding, bound on four ribs, decorated with seals and stamps, two original buckles. Sheets of a 15th century Latin vellum codex are glued on the inner side of the binding plates. Minor hiatus on the upper part of the spine.
