Hagenau, 1505. Gran - Rynman [Augsburg]. [220] p. Folio. Eight edition. A collection of sermons made for the Lent period. First published in 1499 in Hagenau. Pelbartus de Themeswar was the most significant preacher of the Hungarian Middle Ages, he was the most published Hungarian author abroad, a classic of his age and of the sermon literature genre. Contemporary, wooden plate, bound on three ribs, gothic half leather binding. In order to strenghten the binding the sheets of a 16th century Latin vellum codex are fixed on the inner half of the binding plates. Minor damages on the spine, minor hiatuses, the closing buckle missing.
