A gyomorfájdalomról való korabeli ismereteket összefoglaló munka. A szerző (1739-1791) cseh származású anatómus és patológus, bonctant tanított a nagyszombati egyetemen, később a budai, majd a pesti egyetemnek lett az általános kór- és gyógyszertan tanára egészen haláláig. Munkái rendkívül alaposak a kor mércéjével mérve magas színvonalúak, gyakran saját kutatásai, tapasztalatai alapján íródtak. Győry 171. old. Blake 459. Lesky 664. A címlapon beragasztott tulajdonosi monogram, verzóján régi gyűjteményi jelzet. Korabeli, gerincén kissé kifakult papírkötésben. Jó példány.
