He studied from 1918 to 1922 at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts with Viktor Tardos Krenner and Imre Révész, then, from 1922 to 1927, as a master student of János Vaszary. In addition to his work as a freelance painter, he worked as a drawing teacher, Between 1928 and 1946, he was a lecturer in the freehand drawing department at the Budapest University of Applied Sciences. In 1929 Mihaltz went on a study trip to Italy. He was a member of KUT, UME and the Szinyei Society. From 1930 onwards he spent his summers in Szentendre, not far from the capital.PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographs 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium.
