Full description

Similar in appearance to the signs displayed on public administrative buildings, but here the official coat of arms is replaced by that of the Vitézi Rend. The district lieutenant, appointed by the vitézi council, was responsible for managing the order’s affairs, and according to the statutes could request assistance from the district magistrate and other state officials. The Aknasugatag District was located in the southwestern part of Máramaros County, which returned to Hungary after the Second Vienna Award.
Dimensions: 490×290 mm. Slightly damaged at the lower edge.
