A címlap alján poss.: „Rupp” gyűjteményi bélyegzés. A szerző teológiai és orvosdoktor volt, a könyv írása idején az erdélyi bányák felügyelőjeként működött. Az először 1717-ben megjelent, ritka mű Erdély aranybányászatát tárgyalja, külön fejezetet szentelve az arany orvosi vonatkozásainak. E kiadást Michael Schend Havasalföld természeti kincseit leíró tanulmánya bővíti.
