1901-1902, charcoal, white chalk on paper, 62 x 46.5 cm, on reverse of recent adjustments added Skizza k Pokuseni- v NG / cislo pozůstalostniho razitka 407 / 1901 - 2 (Sketch for Temptation - in NG / estate stamp number 40571901 - 2) Literature: Petr Wittlich, Jan Preisler, Kresby (Drawings), Prague 1988, pp. 39 and 40, pictures 54 -56; Jan Preisler, Putovani krajinami duse (Wandering through the Landscape of the Soul), ZG Plzeň, not paginated, catalogue no. 19, Starting Price: CZK 19,000; USD 556; EUR 632, Estimated price: (20,000 - 24,000) CZK., Despite the fact that the added note on the reverse, coming from the inventory of Preisler's estate, places this drawing in relation to the painting, Temptation, an expert of Preisler's work, Petr Wittlich, has published related sketches with a motif of a young man embracing a woman under the name, Seduction. They are all related to the unfinished work, nowadays kept by the Western Bohemian Gallery in Pilzen under the double title Seduction-Temptation.
