around 1905, Indian ink combined with golden colour, 12 x 17 cm, unsigned, framed, Starting Price: CZK 13,000; USD 381; EUR 433, Estimated price: (14,000 - 16,000) CZK., The style of this smaller piece of work by C.O. Czeschka places it among the typical works of Austro - German Art Nouveau of the turn of the century. The artist became known as a graphic artist and designer working from 1905 in the famous manufacturer Wiener Werkstńtte, where he created and designed especially free and applied graphic art, occasional invitations, calendars, jewellery, colour windows, theatre programmes, book decoration, postcards and furniture. The set of decorative vignettes under the title Allerei Gedanken was published in Die Quelle series (see item no. 36).
