Katolikus szellemiségű ifjúsági regény. Példányunk feltehetően a Napóleon által 1805-ben az Écouen-i kastélyban, az elesett katonák árváinak oktatására alapított (Maison d’éducation de la Légion d’honneur), és Madame Campan (Marie-Antoinette egykori szolgálója) által irányított leányintézet könyvtárának egykori darabja.
