Zsigmond Adelsberg, a grain merchant of Pest, and his three sons are ennobled with the name Nemeshegyi, after their estate Jabuka in Temes County, and are granted a coat of arms. The opening page shows a lavishly painted and gilt coat of arms, the next page frames the words “Nos Ferdinandus Primus” within a richly decorated border. Names throughout the text highlighted in gold. Countersigned by Fidél Pálffy and Ede Zsedényi. Wax seal on golden cord preserved intact in metal case.
9 vellum leaves, 16 written pages. Contemporary velvet binding with two ties.
Dated: Vienna, 26 October 1837.
