Folio. Egyetlen kiadás. The most important work of Matthias Bél, Hungarian historian, in which he aimed at a comprehensive topographical and historical description of Hungary. Only 4 volumes had been published, the rest remained in manuscript. This is the fourth volume, which contains the detailed description of the „Tiszántúl”, south eastern Hungary. The map of Hont county is missing from our copy. Contemporary leather binding, ornately gilt spine, painted page edges. Spine slightly worn, minor damage on lower part.
