1. First of all, create an account here, in order to be easily identified when making a bid. Right after creating the account you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Then, throughout the 10 days in which the auction will be taking place, you will be able to bid simply by logging in. The account number you will receive is generated in order of sign-up, and it represents the number of your bidding paddle.
2. You can reach the auction – either via direct connection after completing the account creation process, or by using the website’s menu to select the AUCTIONS section, you will be able to peruse the auction lots. To the right of each image there will be information concerning the works displayed, including the starting price, the interval estimate and the current bid.
3. The button underneath this informative section allows you to place your bid. Simply click on the bidding button and your bid will be registered. If you have accessed our website and the auction’s page directly, without creating an account or logging in, the website will invite you to do so at this time, in order to be able to bid on the desired lot. Accepting the online auction regulations prior to the placement of the bid is mandatory in order to be allowed to bid. Placing a bid represents a payment commitment in case of purchase.
4. Just like in a classic auction, the bidding will take place in stages, constantly displaying both the current and the following price. By clicking, you are confirming the following price.
5. You also have the possibility to make your highest offer. Thus the program will automatically bid in your interest.
6. Each lot will go to the bidder who has placed the last – and implicitly the highest – bid. The bidder will immediately receive an e-mail confirmation.
7. If online bidding is inconvenient for you, either due to limited Internet access or simply because you prefer other methods of bidding, we offer the Quadro Gallery mandate bidding service (either by contacting us at office@galeriaquadro.ro or directly, at our offices). The system will automatically register placed bids, excluding the possibility of two or more identical bids for the same lot. Bidding mandates are to be submitted two days prior to the closing of the auction, at 20:00 and will be registered in the system chronologically; for bids with the same value, the one prior submitted takes priority.
Our auction house commissions apply to online auctions.
Quadro Gallery offers unlimited guarantee for the authenticity of purchased works.
GOOD LUCK!

Online auction participation regulations

1. S.C. Galeria Quadro S.R.L., to be referred to henceforth as: Quadro Gallery, organizes, as commercial representative of the items’ owners, an art auction, at the time and virtual platform announced on the gallery website and through other means.
2. On this occasion, Quadro Gallery edits a catalogue of the works presented in the auction, which will be presented on the Auction House’s website. The works can be seen during the exhibition of the lots . Descriptions and reproductions in the catalogue serve only for the identification of the displayed works. Potential buyers must inspect the authenticity and condition of the works to their satisfaction, before bidding. In order to accomplish this, Quadro Gallery offers assistance to interested buyers. Any damage caused to the exhibited works will have to be reimbursed by the guilty party, conforming to these regulations. Quadro Gallery reserves the right to withdraw any piece from the auction.
3. Any person or legal entity can participate in the auction, regardless of citizenship. There will be no participation fee. The auction can be attended by directly interested individuals or their representatives, who are obligated to present a mandate. It is also possible to attend the auction by mandating the Quadro Gallery. In this case, a contract of representation will be signed between the bidder and Quadro Gallery. If multiple contracts arise for the same piece, at identical prices, the lot will be awarded to the bidder who first signed the contract. Bidding by phone is possible by signing the contract and sending it by fax or in scanned form, via e-mail, to Quadro Gallery staff. Mandates may be registered until the next to last day of auction at 20:00 o‘clock. The system will register them chronologically, giving priority in order of registering time in case of identical bids.
4. Active participation to the auction is possible exclusively by registering on the Quadro Gallery website, filling in the required fields and thus procuring a generated account number, representing the number of the bidding paddle. Accepting the online auction regulations prior to placing a bid is mandatory in order to be able to bid, and placing a bid constitutes a payment commitment in case of purchase and certifies the acknowledgement and acceptance of these regulations.
5. The time of commencement and the closing time of the bid (EET) are displayed on the gallery website.
6. The lot is irrevocably awarded to the number which placed the last – and implicitly the highest – bid until the closing of the auction, adjudication constituting payment commitment.
7. Quadro Gallery reserves the right to end an online auction before the deadline, or to prolong it for an interval determined by the auction house, at any time during the auction.
7.1 If an online auction is cancelled and then restarted, Quadro Gallery reserves the right to decide, according to the nature of the problems which caused the initial cancellation, that all registered offers will be annulled and the bidding will be restarted from the original starting prices, or that the history of the previous biddings will be reactivated.
7.2 The reasons for prolonging or cancelling an auction can consist in the emergence of technical difficulties, processing errors or other errors and delays caused by unforeseen technical problems concerning the server, the hosting service and/or the Internet Service Provider.
In order for the event to take place in an orderly fashion, we advise bidders to make sure that their connection to the internet is functioning optimally
8. Each bidder is responsible for the actions registered on the website under the respective account, with the afferent paddle number and password. The confidentiality of security information is guaranteed by our website and represents the responsibility of each particular bidder.
If there are reasons to believe a paddle number and password of a bidder have been compromised, the bidder will immediately contact the Auction House.
