Auction notice about a public voluntary auction organised as a common sale in wording of the Act No. 26/2000 Sb.

The company 1st Art Consulting Brno CZ, spol. s r. o., nám. Svobody 10, 602 00 Brno, identification number (IČO): 60715553 organises, on request of owners of things offered for public sale, an auction which will take place at the Žofín Palace, Slovanský ostrov 226, Praha on 19.5.2002. This auction is organised in accordance with provisions of the Act No. 26/2000 Sb. on public sales.

Things offered for sale are marked and described in the auction catalogue including the lowest offer (starting price); this catalogue is an integral part of this Auction Notice. All works of art will be sold at auction in accordance with numbers presented in the catalogue.

The company will assure that all works of art will be sold at a public outcry under their numbers. After the opening of bidding, the bidders can bid up in such a way that they rise their reserved bidding numbers. The auction continues till the end of bidding. Individual bids are as follows:

a/ 100 CZK if the momentary auction price is lower than 10.000 CZK
b/ 500 CZK if the momentary auction price is at least 10.000 CZK but not more than 20.000 CZK
c/ 1.000 CZK if the momentary auction price is at least 20.000 CZK but not more than 50.000 CZK
d/ 5.000 CZK if the momentary auction price is at least 50.000 CZK but not more than 100.000 CZK
e/ 10.000 CZK if the momentary auction price is at least 100.000 CZK but not more than 500.000 CZK
f/ 50.000 CZK if the momentary auction price is at least 500.000 and more. The sequence of bids is controlled by the person organising this auction (auctioneer).

The bidder is obliged to pay the final price during the next break. The payment will pay the final price and a provision of 12 % plus the corresponding VAT. When paying with credit cards, the provision makes 15 % plus the corresponding VAT.

The bidder can participate in this public sale also in absentia provided that:
he/she will prepare a Power of Attorney for the firm 1st Art Consulting Brno to represent him/her in this auction
he/she will define things to be auctioned for him/her by the 1s AC company
he/she will set up the upper limit of bidding for each item required.

Basing on a written agreement, the bidder can also participate in the auction by phone.

Sold works of art will be handed over to bidder immediately after the payment in the auction hall or on the base of a "Confirmation about the payment of auction price" in galleries of the firm 1st Art Consulting in Prague 1, Jilská 20 or 1st Art Consulting in Brno, Malinovského nám. 2 within 7 days after the auction at the latest.
