White ceramic. Cast shape with applied, fashioned elements. Surface painted with opaque, metallic and coloured eosin glazes, base painted with marbled pattern. Acid-treated, pale shine. Design: Lajos Mack, 1900 Form: 9 Facon-book, drawing no. 6063, “Design of Lajos Mack”. Fire-cracks from factory on mouth rim. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay 6063 (form number) and round, embossed, stamp-like branding coated in red eosin glazes different from the glaze covering the base. Zsolnay, Pécs, around 1900.
