Zsolnay Floor Vase - Female Figures Dancing under the Stars

White ceramic cast in shape. Above embossment-patterned, acid-treated coating, secession-style scene painted with multi-layer, coloured eosin glazes. Decoration design: Lajos Mack, 1900 Marked on bottom: pressed in clay 5938 (form number) and round, embossed, stamp-like branding made with the same glaze as the coating. Zsolnay, Pécs, 1900. H.: 55 cm Its pair is kept at the Ceramic and Glass Collection of the Museum of Applied Arts.
