Zsolnay Neo-rococo Table Centre
Porcelain ware bowl on cast, patinated and gilded bronze base. Winged Cupid standing on rocailles- and mascarone-decorated legs holding a serving plate in hand in tendril-decorated setting, on it, eagle with wing spread on acanthus leaf. Wavy, pierced rim edge on bowl of porcelain ware, entire surface painted with high-fire, coloured painted, gilded flower decorations. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay Zsolnay, Pécs, and 3568 (form number from 1891), red-stamped Made in Hungary. Zsolnay, Pécs, 1891. H.: 42 cm
