Zsolnay Historic-style Ornamental Plate
Porcelain ware. Oval shape with pierced, rocailles-decorated rim ornament, handles on two sides. Sculptural flower bouquets in belly, gilded flowers painted with embossing, high-fire, coloured glazes on silver lustre fond in medallion. One handle restored, smaller flaws on rocailles decorations. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay Zsolnay Pécs, Made in Austria-Hungaria, 4153 (form number) and five-towers and Made in Austria-Hungaria stamped with red above glaze, original commercial label from factory (slightly worn).
