Zsolnay Historical Pair of Ornamental Jugs
Porcelain faience with colored painting and gilding – from the rococo series. Eastern flowers and plastic, relief-like stylized decorations on the surface, pierced handle on the side. Design: Tádé Sikorszki. Map cracks on the handle, smaller chip on one of the handles and base and glaze imperfection. Gilding is worn. Pressed 3878 form number, factory mark and overglaze stamped five-church on the base. Zsolnay, Pécs, 1892. Height: 47.5 cm
