White ceramic cast in shape. Screech-owl, with match-stand on its back and added match-lighter serrated between legs. Painted with metallescent, yellow-green eosin glazes on surface. Tiny dent on base rim. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay 8??1 (form number) and round, embossed, stamp-like branding with the same color as the glaze, and gold painted five-towers, Zsolnay, Pécs. Commercial etiquette of Kolozsvar distributor (damaged). Zsolnay, Pécs, around 1906. H.: 14 cm
