Zsolnay Small Vase with Frogs
Double-walled, pierced white ceramic decorated with tree-frogs. Painted with shiny, green eosin glazes on base coated in yellow eosin glaze and etched or patterned (??) by hand. Design: Henrik Darilak, 1905. Tiny map-cracks on pierced elements. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay Zsolnay, Pécs, and 7822 (form number), and embossed, round, stamp-like branding the same colour as the base coating. Zsolnay, Pécs, 1905.
