Első kiadás. Kazinczy 1788 nyarán határozta el, hogy kiadja Zrínyi költői műveit (érdekesség, hogy az ekkortájt erősödő Zrínyi-kultusz hatására Döbrentei Gábor és Csokonai egymástól függetlenül, szinte Kazinczyval egyidőben tűzte maga elé ugyanezt a célt). Végül több évtizedes munka eredményeként látott napvilágot a költő műveinek első gyűjteményes kiadása. Szüry: 5215. Központi 101/355.
