Lipcsében végzett fotós, grafikai és könyvművészeti főiskolai tanulmányokat. 1976 óta vesz részt kiállításokon.1987-től szociografikus-dokumentarista fényképeket készít. 1987-től a Magyar Iparművészeti Főiskola tanára, a Vizuális Kommunikáció Tanszék adjunktusa volt. 1995-től a Szellemkép Szabadiskola oktatója. 2007-től szabadúszó. Fontosabb egyéni kiállításai:1991 - Tölgyfa Galéria, Budapest, 1988 - Liget Galéria, Budapest, 2003 - Liget Galéria, Budapest, 2000 - Miro Fotógaléria, Budapest
