A nyomdai munkákat a modern könyvművészeti törekvéseiről ugyancsak ismert Drugulin nyomda készítette. A Münchhausen-történeteket E. R. Raspe kasseli professzor dolgozta fel és adta ki angol nyelven 1785-ben. Az angol változatot G. A. Bürger sajátos népi humorral gazdagítva fordította vissza németre 1788-ban. Kiadói papírkötésben, színes előzéklapokkal.
