Az Oxfordi füzetek sorozatot az Oxfordi Egyetemi Nyomda adta ki 1939 tavaszától, a müncheni egyezmény és Csehszlovákia megszállása után. Nem hivatalos jelleggel, de mégis a brit kormány álláspontját tolmácsoló propaganda füzetek, melyeket a korszak vezető szakemberei, történészek, közgaszdászok, jogászok írtak. A füzet a II. Világháború kirobbanásának közvetlen előzményeit írja meg, diszkréten nem bolygatva túlzottan Ribbentrop - Molotov paktum igazi hátterét.
