Egységes, korabeli, díszes, rendkívül dúsan aranyozott fekete egészmaroquin kötésben, aranyozott lapszélekkel. Az első kötéstáblán „Praemium defensae fidei. MDCCCXXXVIII.”, a hátsó kötéstáblán „Saxosylvanum Collegium” aranyozott felirat. A kötéstáblák közepébe az iskola aranyozott képe préselve. Nagyon szép példány, gyönyörű könyvkötés.
