Vadvirág Méhes- és Gyógyítókert: Farm visit and honey tasting
Vadvirág Méhes- és Gyógyítókert is located in Orfalu, a village in the National Park of Őrség. It is an emerging but already self-sustaining farm, whose operation combines elements of traditional and organic farming. The 3.5-hectare family-owned estate is located on a beautiful hillside surrounded by forests and is a Natura 2000 area. The program includes a property visit, a presentation on the secret life of bees and the healing properties of their products, and honey tasting. Visitors can also try beekeeping in protective clothing. The program is valid for up to 4 people, at a pre-registered time (between mid-May and the end of August). The tour lasts 2 hours. The program does not include the travel cost.
