Vadas Ernő, Balogh Rudolf tanítványa, a két háború közti időszak egyik legsikeresebb, és talán legnagyobb hatású fotósa. Fotói megjelentek a Stefan Lorant szerkesztette Picture Postban és a Lilliputban, de a Vanity Fair, a Harper's Bazaar, a London News is közölte felvételeit.
