Ez a mű második, Katona István által megjelentetett kiadása már mellőzi a Báthory Erzsébet féle „véres”epizódot, mert vélhetően túl abszurdnak találta az esetet ahhoz, hogy egy komoly történeti munkában megjelenjen. Ellenben Turóczi (1682-1765) bölcsészdoktor nagy lelkesedéssel ír latinul Magyarország szőlőtermeléséről, borairól. Hazánkat a bor szülőhazájának („natalis vini patria”) tartja, s részletesen felsorolja, hol és milyen szőlő és bor terem. További érdekes részletek a kötetben.
Díszesen aranyozott gerincű, korabeli egészbőr-kötésben, körül festett lapszélekkel. Címlapon szolíd bejegyzés, megkímélt állapotú, jó példány.
