Egyetlen kiadás! Ponori Thewrewk József (1793-1870.) író, történész, nyelvész. "Eleinte Pesten akart megtelepedni mint gyakorló ügyvéd. Nagy értékű gyűjteményeinek eltolvajlása azonban annyira elvette a kedvét, hogy lakását Pozsonyban tette át, a hol aztán csaknem kizárólag az irodalomnak élt...1845-ben...nagy csapások érték, becses képgyűjteménye tűzvész áldozatává lett, azonkívül felesége is meghalt." (Szinnyei)
