Simon) Prague, 1994 (exhibition catalogue), Starting Price: CZK 50,000; USD 1,464; EUR 1,664, Estimated price: (60,000 - 70,000) CZK., T. F. Simon`s favourite motifs were snapshots from Paris cafes. A pretty young woman in a pink dress and hat is sitting in melancholy concentration over a glass of white wine as if making a difficult decision or another fated step. It is a lightly and gracefully made painting which belonged to the artist`s private collection his whole life.
