A ritka mű szerzője városi tanácsos és perceptor, adóbeszedő volt Gyulafehérvárott. A mű függeléke az Adagia in M. Transylvaniae Principatu inter Hungaros vigentia; eaque Hungarico Latina, azaz „Az Erdély Nagyfejedelemségben élő magyarok által használt közmondások és szólások magyar-latin gyűjteménye”. Ebben a 350 tételben, a feltüntetett változatokat és értelmi megfelelőket is beszámítva, 371 magyar közmondást és szólást találunk latin nyelvű értelmezésekkel.
Korabeli aranyozott gerincű félvászon-kötésben. Helyenként korabeli tintás bejegyzések, alul halovány vízfolt, egyébként jó példány.
