Budapest, 1875. Athenaeum. 2 sztl. lev., 252. p. Széchenyi István 1857–58 években írta azt a nagy munkát,melynek a kéziraton az „Önismeret” címet adta. A 864 oldalnyi, szokatlanul nagy folio-levelekre írt kéziratot Széchenyi sajátkezűleg számozta meg. A döblingi házkutatás során a kézirat szétszóródott, később részletekben került kiadásra. Jelen árverésünkön az eredeti kézirat elejét, az 1–187. oldalig terjedő részt közlő munka szerepel. Első kiadás. Szentkirályi 306. sz. XIX. század végi félvászon kötésben, megkímélt állapotban.
