A szerző leghíresebb munkája, az 1830-as években induló reformmozgalom programadó műve, a magyar gazdasági irodalom egyik legfontosabb darabja. Noha nem tartozik a ritka könyvek közé, példányunkat – állapota mellett – mégis becsessé teszi, hogy Ürményi József császári királyi kamarás tulajdonában volt. Az ő nevéhez fűződik a budai Várhegy alatti Alagút megépíttetése, amelyet 1845-ben már Széchenyi is javasolt. Az építkezést Clark Ádám irányította. Kiadói papírkötésben. Körülvágatlan, széles margójú, szép példány. Poss.: A címlapon Ürményi József tulajdonosi bélyegzőjével. Szentkirályi: 116.
