Wien, 1824. C. F. Schade. Rézmetszetes díszcímlap, címlap, 3 sztl. lev. 164 l. 8 t. (Der Vesuv, Stomboli, Vulkano, Seylla, Aetna). 204 mm.
Lazzaro Spallanzani (1729 - 1799.) olasz katolikus pap, biológus és fiziológus. 1788-ban meglátogatta a Vezúvot, a Lipari-szigetek és Szicília vulkánjait.
Pár évtizeddel későbbi félvászon-kötésben, aranyozott gerinccímmel, jó példány.
