Wagener (1763-1845) német teológus, és a Berlini Felvilágosodás köréhez közel álló sokoldalú író. Tábori lelkészi tevékenysége mellett ipari iskolát vezetett Rathenow-ban, a Vörös Sas Lovagrend tagja. Részt vett a porosz Királyi Optikai Vállalat megalapításában (későbbi ROW), mely aztán lencséiről, mikroszkópjairól és távcsöveiről vált híressé.
Egészbőr kötésben, festett, piros lapszélekkel.
