(négyalakos rézmetszetű ábrák). 19 további, szövegközti rézmetszetű ábrával (2 kétrészes). A szerző (1628-1700) angol diplomata, történész. Előbb Konstantinápolyban a nagykövet titkára, majd brit konzul volt Smyrnában. 1685-ben lovaggá ütötték. Alapműnek számító könyvét tizenegyszer adták ki. Ex librissel. XIX. századi, enyhén kopott, bordázott, aranyozott félbőr-kötésben. 30,7 cm. Nagyon ritka.
