Az illusztrációkat Maj Lindman készítette. Maj Lindman (Mary Lindman-Hulten, 1886–1972) svéd grafikus, a XX. század első felétől számos gyerekkönyvet írt és rajzolt, melyből a legismertebb sorozatai a lányoknak írt Flicka, Ricka, Dicka és a fiú társaik, Snipp, Snapp, Snurr. A borítófedél felső sarkán ajándékozási bejegyzés.
Kiadói, enyhén kopott, foltos, gerincén vászoncsíkokkal összeállított kemény papírtáblák. Ritka könyv.
