A kötet érdekessége, hogy Krúdy Gyula írt hozzá 3 oldalas előszót „Levél Ring Pálról – előszó Ring Pál verseskönyvéhez” címen. Krúdy ezen írását a Gedényi Mihály által írt, 1976-ban lezárt Krúdy Gyula bibliográfia nem ismeri.
