Hungarian Meadow Viper Conservation Center (MME, KNP): Guided tour in the Hungarian Meadow Viper Conservation Center
The decline of the native domestic population of the Vipera ursinii has reached such lows which has led to the fear of the final disappearance of the species. The primary objective of the Center is the hosting and reproduction of animals rescued from their endangered habitats. The study trail leading to the Center provides information on typical habitats in the area, while the Center has outdoor terrariums for vipers and lizard species of the area. Depending on the season, we may also gain insight into animal rescue work. The program is valid for up to 4 people at a pre-registered time, including a visit to the Center and the study trail. The tour lasts 3-4 hours. Offer valid until 31 December 2020. The program does not include the travel cost.
