It is a rare work on prehistory. A supplement was published in Nagyszombat in 1764 with the title "Supplementum ad annales veteres Hunnorum...". The large, folding map (Mappa exhibens Populos Interioris Asiae, et Hungarorum imperium ab anno Ante Natum Christum CCX.) was made by the Viennese engraver, Gütl. The Krüchtern printing house also published the work in the same year.
Slightly damaged, contemporary leather. Spine richly gilt.
Poss.: With ex libris of Count László Kollonics László, bishop of Varad, and Count Ferenc Zichy.
