A korabeli kötés elemeit felhasználó, korhű modern félbőr-kötésben. Nádaskay András a sárospataki református kollégium könyvnyomdájának akkori vezetője volt. Feltehető, hogy a kiadást valamelyik sárospataki tanár rendezte sajtó alá. Úgy látszik, hogy a mű - mint erre a hozzá csatolt szótár utal -, Márton István ugyanilyen című Phaedrus kiadásának újrakiadása azzal, hogy Scwabe Phaedrus életrajzát is közli a kiadó.
