Pataki Sámuel (1765–1824) orvosdoktor, Erdélyország főorvosa. 1801-ben Erdélyben s különösen Kolozsvárott meghonosította a himlőoltást. 1812-ben a főkormányszéki egészségügyi tanács elnökévé és országos főorvossá nevezték ki. 1814-ben az erdélyi pestis járvány leküzdése körül szerzett érdemeiért királyi tanácsosságot kapott. Vegyelemezte Erdély fürdőit.
