Perhaps the most outstanding piece of the rich oeuvre of the Protestant galley-slave-turned-Catholic priest. Besides the many errors of comparative linguistics (e.g. Hungarian-Hebrew language kinship), his approaches and methods significantly impacted the research of the following centuries.
